We use high quality plant based oils, herbs and aromatherapy essential oils. Handmade soap retains its natural glycerin, known to soften the skin naturally. Glycerin is one of the best known humectants. It is often extracted during the process of manufacturing commercially made soap.All of our soaps are lovingly handmade in small batches to ensure quality. After curing, each bar is cut and labeled by hand in recycled, compostable packaging.Larkmartin Soaps is a family owned and operated business in Hot Springs, Arkansas. We are a husband-wife team, making soap, packaging and having fun together! We started making soap when we could no longer find a certain soap locally for our handmade laundry detergent. My husband started making soap and I was hooked! I love the creative process of making cold-process soap and the wonderful properties of handmade soap. I've never felt cleaner and happier! Our retail store and factory is located in the Historic Ouachita Avenue in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
